The top locker will be fitted above the galley. I have used original aluminium from the old internal skin, polished. It will be fitted with sliding walnut doors.
Here is the finished dinette table ready to be fitted. The lovely jade green Formica is edged with a polished aluminium trim.

This is the first stage of preparing the counter tops – laminating a lovely jade green Formica onto a plywood base. These will be edged in polished aluminium.
The walnut, sand coloured marmoleum and the aluminium skin – great combination.
We are using figured (fiddleback) American walnut throughout. Lightweight plywood panels are veneered to form a strong but lightweight structure for the furniture and interior walls. The oiled finish starts to review the beauty of the veneers and depth of the figuring.
This is the structure for the rear bed which will function as a sofa during the day but will extend to form a double bed.
The Glodester will have a front dinette with a drop down table to covert to a bed. The plywood structure shown here will be veneered in figured walnut.
